Twin City continued its Summer Series with a weekend quick trip to explore a new trail. We packed light and had all our essentials ready. We reached the head of the canyon and quickly realized it would prove a challenge. In all, we drove through, up and over all while mapping the challenges inside. What can we compare it too? Well, if you enjoyed Tecolote Trail, then this new canyon will be equally as challenging. If you’re interested in taking it on, follow us on social media and register for the next trip! Unlike Tecolote, this trail is best experience with a smaller group of off-road vehicles. It offers its fair share of rock ledges, uneven terrain, boulders, imposing canyon walls, running springs, and some mud.

We would highly recommend this trail to seasoned off-roaders. This trail is rated moderate (5) and will require some sort of lifted suspension, 33” tires, and locking differentials. Can stock vehicles get through it? Sure, maybe. Bypasses are mostly available, but not all obstacles have an easy way around. But somethings in life have no shortcuts.
