The road to our first ever Go Topless has been a long one. Along the way we learned a lot about what it takes to pull of an event of this magnitude and significance. We’ve planned, we’ve coordinated, we’ve lost sleep and gotten earfuls from our significant others. We started this journey back in November of last year, we wanted to bring that experience of camaraderie, excitement, and adventure to our hometown. In the process, we forged new friendships and learned a lot about others. We learned that not everyone has our best interest in mind and that breaking from traditions past often stirs up conflict, it’s okay, no hard feelings here. Go Topless is a charitable event held each year to welcome the first day of summer by Jeep owners across the country, our event was no different. What was different was our approach. We aimed at creating an event that welcomed everyone and was inclusive to Jeeps, Toyotas, Fords, heck even CanAms. We wanted our event to become a community staple that reflects good on all off-road enthusiasts, promotes safety, and supports local businesses. We reached out to community leaders, security consultants, promoters, businesses, and anyone willing to listen to our plan. Some bought into it, others didn’t, and that’s ok. We’ve gathered and collected photos and videos from our event and would like to share them as a testament to our collective success. Our event drew over 220 off-road vehicles! By our calculations, that’s the biggest vehicle turnout to an organized trail in a very, very, long time! Thank you for attending! Thank you for allowing us to create a fun filled atmosphere! If you had fun and you think this can grow, then join us next year as we take this event to bigger heights!
